Pas-tiche [pa-steesh] (n): a piece of creative work, for example, in literature, drama, or art, that is a mixture of things borrowed from other works

The Acorn Theater is open on Tuesday nights for a night of music, comedy, poetry—and anything else the community wants to showcase. To keep Pastiche an open mic like no other, organizer Mike Kennedy works with different artists in the community to run certain Tuesdays with themes or genres.

"There are so many performers who would love the opportunity to be heard on the stage," says Kennedy. "The Acorn has been such a huge supporter of the arts community, that it only seems natural to run an event such as this."

Sign up begins at 6:00 Eastern Time, and the performances start at 7:00pm. The format is three songs or 15 minutes. This event runs every Tuesday from 7:00-11:00 Eastern Time, and the bar will be open for these Tuesday nights.
